On this date, in 1941, war between the United States and Japan was triggered by the attack on Pearl Harbor. The war officially ended on September 2nd, 1945, at ceremonies onboard the USS Missouri. The USS Missouri continues to be a potent and enduring symbol of world peace and harmony among all peoples.
Please join us to acknowledge the citizens of all countries who suffered from the war, and in an entreaty for peace for our children and all future generations.
This concert was planned by the artists who have volunteered their time and talent to com-memorate the 70th anniversary of the end of the WWII and advocate for the world peace.
